    This book was truly healing for me. I urge each person to complete all of the exercises and to read the book *slowly*. After having two toxic relationships and experiencing trauma throughout life, this book was a game changer. The author is a great combination of empathetic and logical. I truly felt like the real life stories were relatable and dissecting what a trauma bond is and why they are so difficult to break was so helpful. Our brains literally have changes with these bonds and it is validating and freeing to see them objectively. I am so greatful for this book. Amazing read.

    If you ever met a person who simply does not keep his/her promises, this book will very likely answer why. It did for me. This book helped me more than religion did. Most importantly it helped me to have much better relationship with my family. You ave to g thru some "legitimate pain" to go thru ths book. But once you are done, life WILL be better. (no, I do not know the author, but I am eternally grateful to him for the knowledge I have gotten out of it).
