Q: What makes the Wishful series special?

Wishful is a collection of southern romance novels honoring my Mississippi roots. When I started the series, I set out to highlight everything that I love about living in the small town South--all our quirks, foibles, and dreams provide a fabulous (and often funny) backdrop to contemporary romances about stubborn, independent women and the men who love them.

Q: Who would dig these books?

Wishful is a southern romance series written for anyone looking for love in a small town. If you loved Hart of Dixie and miss the residents of Bluebell, you just might fall in love with Wishful. It's a town where everybody knows your name and hope springs eternal! Many of my readers also enjoy the books of Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Kristan Higgins, Melanie Shawn, Ava Miles, and Jill Shalvis.

Q: What order should I read the books in?

This southern romance series has been written so that each story is a standalone that wraps up with a happily ever after by The End. That said, if you want to read them in chronological order I suggest this:

    I absolutely loved this book and I'm thrilled to know that there are many more books featuring the delightful small town by the name of Wishful. As we're introduced to big city career girl, Norah Burke, she suddenly finds herself desperately needing to visit her college roommate who happens to be a cousin of Campbell Crawford. Cam is a city councilman in Wishful about to go to war with the big box store that wants to ruin the town he grew up in and Norah is just the person to help him do it. This book just oozes small town charm and heartwarming family dynamics and the sexy romance between Cam and Norah warmed my heart and melted it like butter. This cozy little town holds a very big piece of my heart and I can't wait to visit it again and again.

    How could anyone not love this story! The characters are wonderfully descripted, the story well thought out, and all the sights, sounds, smells, and emotions are so well depicted I could actually have been there in Wishful myself. I fell in love with the town, the people & not the least, Cam's relationship with Hush. (Any man that loves his dog is a man to consider worth loving) Cannot wait to hear what happens to the rest of the folks I've grown to know and love in this special place. Wishful now holds a piece of my heart as well.
